The Bath Priory to open the UK's first L'Occitane Spa

The Bath Priory in Victoria Park, Bath, is to open the Garden Spa by L'Occitane, the first spa in the UK from the French brand, later this month.

The existing spa at the hotel has been renovated and rebranded with key L'Occitane products. Four treatment rooms have been refurbished, each reflecting the brand's key ingredients, such as verbena and lavender.

Spa staff are being trained on L'Occitane products and treatments. The spa manager will continue to be Jodie Still.

The signature treatment will be the 60-minute verbena relaxing massage. The massage combines Swedish effleurage, Chinese acupressure and Balinese massage techniques.

Other treatments include the immortelle secret of youth facial, the aromachologie relaxing massage and the shea nourishing comfort massage. There will also be revitalising scrubs and detoxifying wraps, as well as treatments designed for men and for expectant mums.
