The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 21 May, 2006
London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 16.9% in the week ending 21 May, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar climbed to £111.26, up from £95.16 during the equivalent week last year.
Occupancy increased by 5.1 percentage points to 87.4% and average room rate grew by 10.1% to £127.23, up from £115.55 in the corresponding week of 2005.

The Bench - which is partnered with US firm Smith Travel Research - provides online benchmarking data for in excess of 34,000 hotels in more than 400 markets.
The online service allows users to track their performance in average room rate, occupancy and revpar in a variety of formats and to measure their daily performance against their competitors.
