The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 23 March, 2008

London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) slump by 10.69% in the week ending 23 March, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar slipped to £99.40, down from £111.30 during the equivalent week of 2007.

Occupancy fell by 3.12 percentage points to 78.84% while average room rate declined by 7.15% to £126.07 compared with £135.78 in the corresponding week of 2007.
