The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 8 June, 2008
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 1.9% in the week ending 8 June, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar rose to £117.57, up from £115.38 during the equivalent week of 2007.
Occupancy dropped by 2.56 percentage points to 81.11% but average room rate grew by 5.12% to £144.95 compared with £137.90 in the corresponding week of 2007.
The online service allows users to track their performance in average room rate, occupancy and revparÁ in a variety of formats and to measure their daily performance against their competitors.
