The Bench: Scottish hotel performance in November 2005
Hotels in Scotland saw revenue per available room (revpar) rise by 2.7% during the month of November.
Revpar increased to £57.68, up from £56.15 during November 2004, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
The big boost came from occupancy, which increased by 2 percentage points to 80.1%. Average room rate grew marginally by 0.3% to £72.04, up from £71.85 in November 2004.

The Bench - which is partnered with US firm Smith Travel Research - provides online benchmarking data for in excess of 34,000 hotels in more than 400 markets.
The online service allows users to track their performance in average room rate, occupancy and revpar in a variety of formats and to measure their daily performance against their competitors.
