The Craigtay Hotel leaves the family

The Craigtay Hotel in Dundee has sold after 50 years in the same family. Previous owner, Paul Carson, was the third generation of his family to own the two-star hotel, which sold through agent Christie and Co for more than £399,500. New owners, Owen and Sarah Boyle also own The New County Hotel in Perth. The couple plan to invest heavily in the property, which features 18 en suite letting rooms; a 29 cover lounge/bistro and a function room licensed for 180 people. Owner's accommodation comprises a lounge, two bedrooms and a playroom.
