The Deckers Group to sell portfolio of hotels and restaurants for £8.7m
Family run-business the Deckers Group has put two hotels and a restaurant up for sale for a combined guide price of £8.7m.
The portfolio includes the 53-bedroom Royal Toby hotel, on the outskirts of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, for a guide price of £5.5m; the 31-bedroom Best Western Pennine Manor hotel (£1.25m, pictured), near Huddersfeld, West Yorkshire; and the Crimble Hall restaurant (£1.95m), between Rochdale and Heywood.
The Royal Toby, which has plans for the development of a further 21 bedrooms, features a function suite for up to 200 guests. Best Western Pennine Manor has a bar and restaurant alongside four function rooms for up to 150 guests.
Crimble Hall can cater for up to 360 diners across three areas: the Conservatory restaurant and grill, the Peacock Room and Fenton's Lounge.
The Deckers Group is run by father and son Clifford and Maxwell Brierley.
Tom Cunningham, hotels director at Savills, which is handling the sale of the properties, said: "Each of these established hotels and restaurants is well known in its local area and has a strong trading history. With the UK's regional hotel and leisure market remaining buoyant, we expect them to have wide investor appeal both as a group and as individual assets."
