The Dorchester to open coffee shop next month
The five-red-AA-star, 250-bedroom Dorchester hotel on London's Park Lane will open a coffee house next month.
Parcafé will be located next to the Dorchester's ballroom and will serve coffee from South London roaster Alchemy plus teas and juices. It will also offer pastries, sandwiches and salads with sweet treats including cookies, cupcakes and home-made fudge.
A La Marzocco coffee machine will act as the focal point inside the marbled-floor shop, which has been decorated to reflect the colours of the coffee it will serve.
The café, which will open on 1 October, will also feature floral displays by the Dorchester's resident florist Phil Hammond. Parcafé will be open seven days a week from 6.30am to 8pm.
