The Horn of Plenty in Gulworthy names Scott Paton head chef

The Horn of Plenty in Gulworthy, near Tavistock, has named Scott Paton as head chef of the hotel's two-AA rosette restaurant. He brings more than nine years' experience to the role, having previously worked at Jack in the Green in Rockbeare, near Exeter. Paton won South West Chef of the Year in 2009, and was awarded "Dessert of the Year" by the Association of Pastry Chefs in 2008. He will head a team of six chefs.
