The Hotel television series to return to Channel 4

Channel 4 TV series The Hotel is set to return for another series, once again featuring hapless hotelier Mark Jenkins.

The show will be filmed in the Cavendish hotel in Belgrave Road in Torquay. Jenkins will return this year in a new role as "entertainments manager" for five weeks.

He last appeared in the third series of the show when he sold the Grosvenor.

The Cavendish, where the new series will be filmed, has 96 rooms and 30 members of staff. It has been owned for the last 22 years by Joyce and Ernie Blagden and run by their daughters Vicky and her husband Andy.
