The Raithwaite Estate appoints new estate hotel manager

The Raithwaite Estate in North Yorkshire has appointed Claire Jones as estates hotel manager.

The estate, located in 100 acres near Whitby, is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and managed by Luxury Hotel Partners.

Jones joins the property from her previous role as general manager for Contessa Hotels, which operates two luxury boutique hotels in the Wirral area of Merseyside: the Hillbark Hotel and Spa and the Leverhulme Hotel.

During her tenure as GM, the Hillbark was awarded five stars by the AA, becoming the smallest five star hotel in the UK and the first and only five star hotel in the Liverpool City region.

Andrew Nasskau from Luxury Hotel Partners welcomed Jones to the team, adding: "She brings with her great experience in the small luxury hotel market that will help the Raithwaite Estate in its vision of being one of the finest country Estate Hotels in the UK."
