The Savoy announces Fabrice Lasnon as new executive chef amid shift in direction
The Savoy has announced that Fabrice Lasnon is its new executive chef as the hotel looks to plot a new course.
Lasnon, a French born and trained chef, has worked across the world in luxury hotels including Royal Mirage in Dubai, Kempinski in Istanbul, and Marrakech's La Mamounia. He joins the team following a stint at the Murray in Hong Kong, returning to London after 20 years away from the capital.
It comes as the legendary hotel looks to build on its traditions in a new and fresh direction. In a statement, the Savoy said Lasnon would be implementing "subtle changes across the food offering throughout the hotel including the launch of a new breakfast menu and a refashioned in-room dining offering".
Lasnon will also oversee the launch of Bill of Fare in Simpson's in the Strand following the appointment of Adrian Martin as the site's chef de cuisine.
