Forest Side

Forest Side, a 20-bedroom hotel and 50-cover restaurant set in a 19th century building near Grasmere in the Lake District, is set to launch later this month after a £4m renovation. The hotel is part of the Wildsmith Hotel Collection and former L'Enclume chef and head forager Kevin Tickle will head the kitchen.

King Street Townhouse

King Street Townhouse, part of the Eclectic Hotels Group, opened in Manchester's Upper King Street conservation area in December 2015. The hotel is housed in a Grade II-listed building and offers a rooftop infinity pool.

Padstow Townhouse

Michelin-starred chef Paul Ainsworth has opened a six-bedroom hotel to operate alongside his two restaurants in Padstow in Cornwall. Padstow Townhouse is located across two 18th century townhouses and launched in December last year.

The Ivy Kensington Brasserie

Mid-December saw the opening of the Ivy Kensington Brasserie, Caprice Holdings' latest venue. It offers an all-day menu overseen by executive chef Sean Burbidge, and around 40% of tables will be held back for walk-ins.

The Renaissance London Heathrow has completed a £20m renovation as part of its aim to become a leading hotel at the airport. The refurbishment includes new lighting and signage, a new Market Garden restaurant, Bar Eleven and 61 new bedrooms.
