Themed hotel to open at Legoland Windsor
A four-star, 150-bedroom themed hotel is set to open at Legoland in Windsor, in March 2012.
Aimed at the leisure and incentive markets, the hotel will feature a dragon-guarded entrance and include a buffet restaurant for 250 covers, bar and lounge for business delegates, an outdoor lakeside seating area, a pirate splash pool, adult pool, private dining facilities and conference facilities for nearly 400 delegates.
The bedrooms and suites will all be Lego themed as either pirate, adventure or kingdom spaces. Hospitality industry sales agency the Solutions Company, has been appointed to manage the hotel's pre-opening sales campaign.
All stays at the Legoland Windsor Resort hotel will include a 30-minute early ride time at the theme park, free parking and a Lego gift for every child.
The first Legoland hotel opened more than 20 years ago at the theme park in Billund, Denmark.
