Three Ramada hotels up for sale for £16.9m

Three Ramada-branded hotels have gone on the market for a total of £16.9m. Offers will be considered for the hotels individually or as a portfolio.

The hotels were previously operated by Jarvis Hotels until the company went into liquidation in 2011 and the current owner passed the management of the properties to Redefine BDL Hotels.

The hotels are the 170-bedroom Ramada Birmingham Sutton Coldfield, the 151-bedroom Ramada Plaza London Gatwick and the 128-bedroom Ramada Hatfield.

Henry Jackson, partner of the hotel team at property agent Knight Frank, said: "Despite the change of control from Jarvis Hotels, the businesses have not been disrupted. We expect the hotels to be well received in the market as they provide a potential trading platform for an investor or operator."

Knight Frank is selling the hotels with vacant possession as going concerns.
