Top Scottish hotel changes hands

one of Scotland's most exclusive country house hotels, Cromlix House, which is situated at Kinbuck by Dunblane in Perthshire, has changed hands.

Previously run by the Assenti family, agent Christie + Co acted on behalf of the Eden family, the owners of Cromlix House and Estate, in finding the new proprietors.

The new owner of the business is fast-expanding Glasgow-based hotel and leisure company, Alliedfreeze, privately owned by two of the licensed trade's best known personalities, Ian Grier and David O'Connor. Alliedfreeze also owns the Busby Hotel in the south side of Glasgow, as well as other Glasgow bars, including the award-winning Lismore Bar.
