Torquay hoteliers buy Michelin-star Orestone Manor

Torquay hoteliers Alan and Jean May have bought the Michelin-star Orestone Manor hotel in an off-market sale.

The 12-bedroom country house hotel in Maidencombe, on the fringe of Torquay, scooped a Michelin star this January for its 40-seat restaurant that is run by head chef Darron Bunn.

The property was sold through the Plymouth office of Colliers Robert Barry on behalf of the previous owners, Peter and Frederica Morgan, who ran the hotel under management.
