Online booking site TripAdvisor has added a third date to its hospitality roadshow series as it attempts to win over industry operators.
The third free date, and first in Scotland, is at the Apex International hotel in Edinburgh on 25 November, and will offer operators online marketing strategies and tips.
Christine Petersen, president of TripAdvisor for business, said: "TripAdvisor's introduction of masterclass events has been well received by our partners, and we are pleased to add Edinburgh to our growing list of locations.
"These events offer hospitality professionals tested strategies for reaching more customers, increasing bookings, and managing a brand's online reputation."
It comes after the authors of the latest Good Hotel Guide slammed the site for allowing users to post "malicious and collusive reviews" without checking their authenticity.
Although many hoteliers fear bogus reviews on the site will harm their reputations, TripAdvisor has held talks with industry trade bodies including the British Hospitality Industry in a bid to offer redress and take on board these concerns.
