TripAdvisor launches hospitality operator charm offensive
Online booking site TripAdvisor ](http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/)is to hold a number of masterclass events next month in a bid to improve its sometimes fractious relationship with hospitality operators.
TripAdvisor's events will be held on 2 November at London's Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel and on 4 November at the Midland hotel in Manchester, with morning and afternoon sessions available.
Experts from [Visit London](http://www.visitlondon.com) and [Marketing Manchester](http://www.marketingmanchester.com/), as well as from TripAdvisor, will be on hand to provide marketing insight to hospitality delegates.
One of the main topics for discussion at the sessions will be the controversial situation around responding to guest reviews, and how best to maintain a positive online reputation.
Christine Petersen, president of TripAdvisor for business, said: "These events offer a great opportunity to meet with industry leaders and discuss marketing solutions to today's most pressing business challenges."
Other topics to be covered include how to enhance your TripAdvisor listing; increasing direct booking traffic to your property site; enhancing your site with free tools; and strategies to get more reviews on peer-to-peer sites.
