Twinned Glasgow hotels carry a combined price of £3.5m
Two sister hotels that face each other across the street in Glasgow's West End have been put on the market for a combined price of £3.5m.
The three-star Argyll guesthouse and the Angus B&B are directly opposite each other on Sauchiehall Street and are renowned for their hanging basket displays.
The fully-licensed Argyll hotel has 38 en-suite bedrooms and a 65-seat restaurant and bar that is also used by guests at the smaller 20-bedroom Angus hotel. The Angus also has a serviced apartment.
The sale is being handled by the Glasgow office of Christie + Co.
"We are seeking offers in excess of £3.5m for the two hotels as a package and, although the sale could be split, they run perfectly together as they achieve outstanding profits," commented David Reid at Christie + Co's Glasgow office.
