Two join in Initial Style Conferences restructure

Initial Style Conferences (ISC) has recruited two senior hotel figures as part of a shake-up and repositioning of the company following last autumn's takeover.

Tony Dangerfield, previously president of Europe at Millennium Copthorne hotels, joins the business as chief operating officer from 2 May. Phillip Adams, vice-president finance and business support UK and Ireland at InterContinental Hotels, is also set to join in May as finance director. As a result of the restructure, ISC managing director Alistair Stewart has left.

ISC will reveal a new business name, corporate identity and direction this month. The company was bought last October by Alternative Hotel Group for £325m. Investors include Marylebone Warwick Balfour chief executive Richard Balfour-Lynn.
