Two new franchisees for Choice Hotels Europe
Two independent hotels are joining Choice Hotels Europe to be operated under franchise agreements.
The four-star, 211-bedroom Croydon Park, which is owned and operated by Kasterlee UK, has been rebranded as the Clarion Collection Croydon Park Hotel. Meanwhile, the three-star, 44-bedroom Royal Hotel Luton, owned and operated by the Landlet Hotel Group, will become known as the Comfort Hotel Luton.
Zaheed Nizar, director, Landlet Hotel Group, said he wanted to work with a strong global franchise brand. "Choice Hotels Europe was the organisation that best matched our needs."
The two new signings form part of Choice Hotels' strategy to grow its business in the UK by entering into more third-party direct franchising agreements.
Choice Hotels Europe franchises nearly 500 hotels across Europe under three brands - Clarion (four-star), Quality (three-star) and Comfort (value).
