UK is busiest European country for hotel development

The country also ended the month with the largest number of rooms - 12,519 - in construction.
Germany is in second place with 17,912 planned (7,999 in construction), followed by Russia with 15,614 in the pipeline (7,210 in construction).
London is the busiest city for hotel development with 8,869 rooms imminent, of which 4,950 are in construction, followed by Berlin and Moscow
The total number of hotel bedrooms in Europe is 3.6m, with a further 112,816 in the pipeline, of which 57,850 are in construction.
