Upgrade for wing of Charing Cross hotel

Guoman's four-AA-star, 239-bedroom Charing Cross hotel](http://www.guoman.com/en/hotels/united_kingdom/london/charing_cross/index.html) is undergoing a £2.5m transformation of its Buckingham Wing.

To be named The Executive Wing, it will become an exclusive area within the hotel with its own check-in reception desk and dedicated concierge service.

Each of the wing's 85 bedrooms will have black-out blinds, large workstations with Wi-Fi, Hypnos beds and rainhead showers. Guests will have access to the Guoman Club Lounge, a private area to work or relax.

Due to be completed in February 2011, the redesign is taking place alongside a £3m refurbishment of the hotel's public areas including the restaurant, staircase and lounge.
