Victor Clavell becomes Ritz-Carlton's regional VP for Europe

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has appointed Victor Clavell as regional vice-president for Europe, a newly created position that unites the formerly separated European region.
Clavell is responsible for the company's 10 luxury hotels in Spain (Barcelona, Marbella, Tenerife); Portugal (Lisbon); Germany (Berlin, Wolfsburg); Turkey (Istanbul); Russia (Moscow), Ireland (Powerscourt) and Italy (Milan).
Since joining the company in 1992, Clavell he has held numerous positions in the food and beverage and rooms divisions of Ritz-Carlton Hotels in Spain, the USA, Asia and Mexico.
He was a member of the opening team of Hotel Arts Barcelona, where he returned several years later as general manager - a role he will retain alongside the promotion.
