Wandsworth approves plans for 122-bedroom hotel

The go-ahead has been given for the development of a 122-bedroom hotel on the site of a former Honda garage in Wandsworth, South London.

The hotel will include function rooms, a restaurant, gym and 25-space basement car park. It will also contain space for a business academy and associated conference facilities.

Wandsworth Council planners said the development was welcome news for the borough. "This investment will bring this vacant and semi-derelict site back into productive economic use and provide opportunities to people living in the area," said planning applications chairman Councillor Nick Cuff.
