Woodford's County hotel rebrands to Best Western Plus

The former County hotel in Woodford, north east London, has been rebranded to the Best Western Plus Epping Forest, following a £1.4m refurbishment.

Owned by Merrigold Ltd, the 99-bedroom hotel is managed by Redefine BDL Hotels. It is now one of just four Best Western Plus hotels in London and the surrounding counties.

Best Western Plus sits between Best Western and Best Western Premier within the three-tier sales and marketing consortium.

The hotel features the Forest Restaurant & Bar and a new conference facility, the Statesman Suite, for up to 250 people.

Sara Chegwidden, general manager of Best Western Plus Epping Forest, said: "We're extremely proud to unveil a brand new look and feel for the hotel.

"Over the last six months the interior has been completely renovated to include a state-of-the-art events space and welcoming reception area. The hotel's bedrooms and restaurant have also undergone a complete overhaul, creating a bright and stylish hotel that we believe will cater to our customers' needs."
