Wyndham Grand on market for £80m
The five-star, 158-suite Wyndham Grand at Chelsea Harbour, London, has been put on the market with a price tag of £80m.
Dublin-based property developer Harcourt Developments wants to sell the 200,000sq ft leasehold property, which has recently completed an extensive refurbishment programme. The hotel includes a restaurant and bar with views overlooking the exclusive marina, banqueting rooms, spa with swimming pool and five penthouses.
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts operates the hotel under a 20-year lease which it secured in 2007, when it took over its management from Hilton Worldwide, which had previously run the property under its five-star Conrad brand.
Colin Hall, head of London Hotels Agency at Colliers International, which is handling the sale, said: "It is comparatively rare in London for a hotel of this scale and calibre to enter the open market and we are expecting strong interest from hotel investors from around the globe who will see this flagship property as an important addition to their portfolios."
