Zetter hotel announces new general manager

Jason Catifeoglou has been appointed the new general manager of London's Zetter hotel in Clerkewell.

Catifeoglou comes from IHG (Intercontinental Hotel Group) where he was brand operations manager for UK and Ireland. He was previously general manager of Myhotel Bloomsbury and Myhotel Chelsea, and has been drafted in to replace the recently-departed Justin Pinchbeck, who left the hotel to join Alex Aitken and Robin Hutson's team at Lime Wood.

A former Acorn Award winner, Catifeoglou joins the Zetter (which opened in 2004) as the company prepares for an expansion project in Clerkenwell, opening a new venue in two Georgian townhouses on St John's Square at the end of 2010.

Zetter's director Michael Benyan said; "We are delighted that Jason has joined the Zetter as general manager particularly at such an exciting time for the company. Jason's experience and skills will be instrumental in assisting us with the Zetter's forthcoming project."
