First Choice Coffee's review of the year
The highlight for the First Choice Coffee team has been seeing the operators develop a passion for coffee.
"We've had some hands-on interactive training sessions with each of the sites. Once they could see and taste the difference between mediocre coffee and great coffee and see how easy it is to obtain, you could really see their confidence grow," says Stephen Brecher.
Equipment from First Choice Coffee supplied to the Wild Wood and the Royal Sportsman has helped boost business. "Dominic at the Wild Wood had a traditional machine before we started working with him and the coffee knowledge among his staff was limited," says First Choice Coffee's Aimee Hughes. "The Victoria Arduino equipment we have supplied, together with the staff training and promotional items we have put together, has moved coffee in his business from a nice-to-have to a must-have."
"The Royal Sportsman is now using our Grand Café Rainforest Alliance Certified Coffee and we've been working with Louis to develop table-talkers to highlight winter-warmers."
The Tudor Farmhouse saw coffee sales rise by 25% just through lunch and dinner trade, thanks to an automatic machine.
"The beauty of the Tiger machine is that you can create barista-style coffee at the touch of a button, meaning that any member of staff can serve coffee and no specialist barista is required," Hughes says.
