MasterChef: The Professionals 2026 alumnus and chef Chris Bartlett saw his restaurants join the guide’s listings in July
The Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland has added 12 new restaurants to its online listings.
The guide updates its recommendations each month based on its inspectors’ travels, with any additions highlighted by a ‘New’ symbol.
New additions included Elda in Norfolk’s Stoke Holy Cross, which launched as a permanent location led by chef Chris Bartlett this year following a successful six-month pop up. Bartlett, who also appeared on this year’s series of MasterChef: The Professionals, was praised in the guide alongside chef Hazel Yuille for crafting “well-constructed dishes that satisfy diners with their balance and precision”.
Chef Michael O’Hare, whose former ventures include Leeds’ the Man Behind the Curtain, saw his new outpost In Lamentation added to the guide. The restaurant in Boston Spa, West Yorkshire, was hailed by the guide for showcasing “O’Hare’s signature creativity” across its menu.
