Levy extends catering partnership with Edinburgh International Conference Centre

Levy UK + Ireland, part of Compass Group UK and Ireland, has secured a long-term contract extension at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).

The sports and leisure caterer has worked closely with the EICC since its inception in 1995 and has now extended its partnership until 2032.

Operating as EICC Nourish, the 27-strong team deliver meals for tens of thousands of guests each year, catering across conferences, corporate meetings, exhibitions and live entertainment, including concerts and shows.

The team minimise food waste by collaborating with apps like Olio and source local Scottish produce as much as possible, often serving wild venison and smoked trout.

Over the years, the EICC has held global summits, including the TED Summit, which brought together leaders from 84 countries across the globe, as well as the Hunter Foundation Dinner, which hosted former president of the United States Barack Obama.

Matthew Lewis, chief operating officer at Levy, said: “As we begin this extended partnership, we’re collaborating closely with the EICC team on some exciting developments in the coming months, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together at this spectacular venue.”

Earlier this year, Compass launched Lyvera, which sits under Levy, in a bid to hit £350m turnover for sports and events by the end of 2028.
