The contract extension comes soon after Villa Park completed a five-month refurbishment of its hospitality spaces
Levy UK + Ireland, the sporting arm of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has secured a 10-year contract extension with Aston Villa Football Club.
It comes soon after Villa Park completed a five-month refurbishment of its hospitality spaces, which transformed 14 pre-existing hospitality areas into three new venues with revamped kitchen facilities and enhanced menus.
The redevelopment also led to the addition of 1,300 seats designated at General Admission Plus or Premium.
The partnership will see Levy catering on match days, as well as at Aston Villa’s training ground, Bodymoor Heath, with a renewed focus on technology and sustainability.
Street food trader Kerb, which is backed by Compass, has also created a line-up of local, independent vendors for Villa Park, which include the likes of Flying Cow, Street Souvlaki and the Currywurst.
Jon Davies, chief executive officer at Levy UK + Ireland, said: “This collaboration allows us to showcase our dedication to innovation in food, technology, and sustainable practices, all while delivering exceptional experiences for the Villa fanbase.”
Chris Heck, president of business operations at Aston Villa, added: “We are only as good as the company we keep, and we want best-in-class partnerships. Our collaboration with Levy is exactly that – a true partnership with the best in the hospitality space. We’re incredibly proud of what we achieved together in such a short timeframe last summer and are excited to see what we can accomplish over the years to come. Innovation and improvements will continue across Villa Park to cement our status as a world class venue.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
