Five-year contract win for Levy at new Brentford FC stadium

Levy UK has won a five-year contract with Brentford FC to deliver food and hospitality at the club's new stadium.

The sports and leisure caterer, part of Compass Group, will mobilise and provide retail, hospitality and non-match day catering at the new 17,250 Brentford Community Stadium.

Levy's new contract is expected to generate hundreds of jobs for the local area and the caterer said it will engage with local suppliers and artisan producers.

The company will use new and "future-proofed" technologies, including cashless tills and digital screens, to deliver a speedy and efficient service.

Brentford FC will move from its Griffin Park home at the start of the 2020/21 season. Once construction is complete, the stadium will be ready for both Premier League football and Premiership rugby, including London Irish RFC, which will play its home games at the stadium.

Jon Davies, managing director at Levy UK, said: "We're really excited to be mobilising a cutting-edge foodservice operation at Brentford FC's new home in partnership with the club. To deliver a truly legendary experience all touch points have been considered and we'll be rolling out a fan-first approach that will offer a huge variety of choice to every guest."

Jon Varney, Brentford FC chief executive, commented: "We want every aspect of our new home to be first class; with Levy on board I'm confident our match day offering, whether in our premium lounges or on the concourses, will be second to none."
