London-based guesthouse brand Mason & Fifth launches workspace memberships

London-based hospitality brand Mason & Fifth has launched its first flexible workspace offering.

Mason & Fifth, which up until now has focused on accommodation, said it is taking “the natural step” into workspaces with Meadow, which will form part of its Westbourne Park guesthouse once it opens this June in the historic Taxi House site.

The 332-studio property is also set to feature the Grounding wellness studio, a canal-side restaurant in partnership with the team behind Crispin and Bistro Freddie in London’s Shoreditch, as well as a cinema, listening lounge and 10th floor lounge and recording studio.

The Meadow workspace will offer two types of memberships: Workbenches and Workshops. Workbenches are more communal and can be booked on a daily, weekly or monthly basis while the Workshops provide private lockable studios that can be reserved for a minimum of three months.

It will also offer phone booths and free-to-use bookable meeting rooms, as well as a large gallery space to host events and exhibitions. The membership also includes access to printers, lockers, bike storage and a post room for courier services available on request.

All members will be given a free lunch, as well as coffee, tea, fruit and snacks and discounted room rates.

It comes as more hotels seek to tap into the rising demand for hybrid working through the provision of office space in addition to wellness packages and F&B discounts.

With a lack of maker spaces like these across our city, we hope to have created a haven for ideas to flourish – that’s why we’ve called it Meadow.” 

Mason & Fifth opened its first guesthouse in Bermondsey in 2020, which was followed by the launch of Mason & Fifth Primrose Hill in 2024. It is set to launch further sites in Westbourne Park and Belsize Park, and unveiled ambitions to “expand internationally over the coming years”.
