The business is behind the Tattu, Fenix and Louis restaurant brands
Permanently Unique Group (PUG), the independent hospitality business behind the Tattu, Fenix and Louis brands, has secured £25m to accelerate its UK and international expansion.
The Manchester-born restaurant group entered the flexible borrowing agreement with Natwest, with an additional £5m option that can be activated as growth opportunities arise.
The cash injection will support the opening of a Tattu in London’s Canary Wharf later this year, while also enabling the launch of two new Louis sites in London’s Mayfair and Dubai planned for 2027.
The group is exploring further opportunities in the Middle East, Ireland and the US.
Adam Jones, founder at PUG, said: “NatWest has backed us from the very beginning, and this revolving credit facility reflects the strength of that partnership. We’re now in a position to accelerate growth across all three brands. Fenix opened in Mayfair in March, Tattu comes to Canary Wharf later this year, and Louis expands into Dubai and Mayfair in 2027.”
John Howard, relationship director at NatWest, added: “We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Permanently Unique Group as they enter their next phase of expansion. Having worked alongside the business since the opening of their first Tattu site in Manchester back in 2015, we’ve seen first-hand the strength of the brand and the team behind it.
“This facility, inclusive of an additional £5m accordion option, provides a strong platform for future growth, and we look forward to continuing our partnership as they scale further.”
PUG was founded in 2015 by brothers Adam and Drew Jones and has grown from a single site in Spinningfields to nine restaurants across Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Birmingham, London and Dubai, employing 750 people.
The restaurant group is expecting to generate roughly £50m in revenue in 2026.
NatWest has been a banking partner since PUG’s inception.
