Meadow Brown secures £1.5m contract extension with Nene Park Trust

Meadow Brown Restaurants has signed a 10-year lease extension with Nene Park Trust in Peterborough, worth £1.5m a year.

Meadow Brown started trading at Nene Park nine years ago and it was the group's first contract.

The company hopes to expand the size of its contract to be worth £2m a year from the coming financial year, with plans to invest over £250,000 in the two existing catering outlets and redeveloping a grab and go unit.

"We are extremely proud of what we have achieved here as this is where our journey started nine years ago and we have grown organically over the time to six sites now," said Meadow Brown managing director Raj Regmi.

The business also operates several cafés and restaurants at locations including Lincoln Cathedral and Nottingham Castle.
