Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland sets 2026 launch date

The Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland will launch its 2026 edition on Monday 9 February at the Convention Centre Dublin.

Recipients of new Michelin stars, green stars and special awards will be announced at the ceremony, which will be broadcast live on YouTube.

All chefs running a starred restaurant, as well as journalists, influencers, partners and industry leaders, are typically invited to the ceremony.

It is the first time the red book has held its ceremony in Ireland. Earlier this year, the guide unveiled its new stars in Scotland for the first time at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

Michelin said the move to Dublin had been possible thanks to a commercial partnership with Irish food producer La Rousse.

Michelin announced its global key selection, billed as a Michelin star for hotels, earlier this month.

Thirteen one-keys and six two-keys were newly awarded to hotels in the UK and Ireland at a global presentation ceremony at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
