Milena Floyd has been promoted to managing director at Creative Restaurant Group, the London-based hospitality company behind Michelin-starred Humo and Endo at the Rotunda.
Floyd joined Creative Restaurant Group as head of operations in 2023 and held the role of operations director for a year before being promoted to managing director.
Prior to that, she worked across Gaucho and Orange Brands Management, where she oversaw the Sushisamba and Duck & Waffle restaurants.
Her appointment follows the departure of Alex D’Aguiar, who left Creative Restaurant Group in February of this year to become global head of restaurants and bars at luxury hospitality group Belmond, owner of the two-Michelin-starred Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire.
Floyd said: “Being promoted to managing director is a truly exciting milestone in my career. It reflects not only the technical expertise and operational experience I’ve built over the years, but also the leadership, vision and resilience needed to inspire teams, drive growth and represent the company with purpose and passion.
“I’m incredibly proud to step into this role at CRG – not just as a leader, but as a woman in the industry – and I’m looking forward to playing a key role in shaping our strategic direction and supporting our continued expansion.”
Misha Zelman, chairman of Creative Restaurant Group, added: “Milena’s unwavering commitment, operational excellence, and passion for our industry have been instrumental in CRG’s growth.
“She has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a forward-thinking approach that aligns perfectly with our strategic goals. I have every confidence that under her guidance, CRG will continue to thrive and reach new heights.”
Creative Restaurant Group was launched in 2021 and comprises several restaurants, including Humo and Niju in London’s Mayfair, Sumi in London’s Notting Hill, and Kioku by Endo at the OWO in London’s Whitehall.
