NoMad London’s new New York-inspired restaurant will be overseen by culinary director Bryce Shuman
NoMad London is to launch New York-inspired restaurant Twenty 8 NoMad in the former home of Atrium next month.
The restaurant, at the 91-bedroom hotel in Covent Garden’s Bow Street, will be led by culinary director Bryce Shuman.
Its menu will feature grilled flatbreads using a recipe from a Little Italy pizzeria, crudités inspired by early morning trips to Union Square Greenmarket, as well as chicken served with black truffles and foie gras.
The restaurant will also offer a New York-inspired cocktail menu and signature martini menu.
The hotel’s sister property NoMad New York permanently closed its doors in 2021 during the coronavirus pandemic.
NoMad London opened in the former Bow Street Magistrates’ Court in London’s Covent Garden in 2021 and was the first the group’s first hotel outside the US. The 91-room hotel secured a £73m loan to refinance the property in 2023.
Hilton acquired a controlling interest in Sydell Group, the parent company of the NoMad brand, last year and announced plans to open up to 100 NoMad hotels worldwide.
Sydell also developed the Ned in London in partnership with Soho House and is also behind the Line and Freehand brands.
