Celebrated French pâtissier Pierre Hermé has opened his first London store, following his successful spell at Selfridges earlier this year. Located in Belgravia, the boutique mirrors those in Paris and Tokyo and offers a range of UK-specific pound cakes.

Products include bonbons de chocolat, chocolats au macaron and truffes as well as "one bite" PH Cubes in hazelnut praline and chocolate; chocolate ganache; and olive oil, black olive and chocolate flavours. Macarons come in 12 flavours, including milk chocolate and passion fruit; peach, apricot and saffron; and olive oil and vanilla.
