Fleet-based independent caterer Pabulum recently held an event to recognise the achievements of its staff and set targets for the year ahead.
Suppliers including Bidvest, Dennys Brands, Foodari and British Premium Meats also attended the event.
The company celebrated a number of achievements including obtaining more than £15m worth of new contract wins and making the shortlist for this yearâs Foodservice Cateys.
Pabulum, which specialises in ethical and sustainable catering, put on an award ceremony to celebrate the hard work and commitment of its catering teams and head office personnel.
Awards were presented for innovation and fantastic support as well as those recognising the primary and secondary school chefs who had gone the extra mile.
The companyâs highest honour, the Chairmanâs award went to development chef Dennis Baillie for his commitment and dedication to the business throughout the year.
Nelson Williams, managing director said: âPabulum has enjoyed another excellent year; weâve grown the business and are proud to be recognised within the industry as an outstanding company.
âEvery single member of staff has played a part in this success and Meet 2016 has been about recognising this and saying thank you. It was great to see so many happy, smiling faces around the room.â
He added: âI believe itâs important to come together and reflect on what weâve achieved as a business.Â
âDoing this helps inspire and motivate everyone for the new school year ahead, thatâs why we also set out our plans for the future at the event. This is not a business you can afford to stand still in, so weâll continue to grow, without compromising on our values and commitment to fresh food.â
