The 49-bedroom Parade Hotel Bath will open in September, occupying three Georgian townhouses in the city centre’s North Parade.
The hotel, operated by management company Providence Hotels, stretches across six floors and features the Courtyard Spa, bar and lounge. A restaurant is due to be opened within the hotel towards the end of the year.
Joe Bester, chief executive of Providence Hotels, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be opening Parade Hotel Bath in one of Bath’s most special locations. We believe that where you stay should be as memorable as the destination itself.
“Nestled among Bath’s most iconic attractions, Parade hotel is full of the charm, historic character and contemporary indulgences this city is known for; and rather specially, is the first building that we’ve completely restored and redesigned, so it’s been an exciting project for the whole team.”
Bedroom categories range from ‘Snug’ rooms to suites sleeping up to four guests. All will offer air-conditioning, smart TVs and tea and coffee facilities. Three Spa Garden Rooms offer direct access to the Courtyard Spa.
The spa incorporates a sauna and cold plunge as well as hot tub, cold drench and outdoor shower as well as treatment room offering cleansing experiences.
1748 Bar & Lounge serves menus celebrating the flavours of the West Country, including artisanal cheeses, Somerset charcuterie and baked goods as well as locally sourced beers, wines and spirits.
