Piccolino Italian restaurant in Alderley Edge reopens following fire

Piccolino Italian restaurant in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, will reopen today following a fire that broke out on the roof area on Thursday 2 January.

Following the blaze, repairs and restoration work had to be carried out.

Piccolino will hold a celebratory reception for its loyal guests many who sent messages of support.

General manager Giuseppe Pinto said: "We were saddened to have to temporarily close following last week's incident. I, on behalf of everyone at Piccolino, would like to thank the local fire service and police for their amazing response and to our wonderful team which has worked tirelessly to ensure we're in a position to reopen today."

Piccolino is owned by restaurant group Individual Restaurants. Its brands include the Restaurant Bar & Grill, Bank Restaurant & Bar and Gino D'Acampo My Pizza & Prosecco Bar.
