North Devon pub gets new owners

Experienced pub operators Jackie and Gary Penfold have taken over as new landlords at the Kingsley Inn in Northam, near Bideford, north Devon.

The Penfolds previously ran pubs in the north of the country. Jackie will manage front of house and Gary, an experienced chef, will concentrate on the catering.

The business was sold by licensed property specialists Stonesmith of Exeter on behalf of licensee Phil Mason.

The two-storey property includes an open-plan bar with public and lounge bar areas, providing about 48 seats. A leasehold interest business, it was sold off an asking price of £70,000.
