Red River Inn sold to its manager

The manager of the Red River Inn in the Cornish village of Gwithian has snapped up the freehold for close to the asking price of £435,000.

The village-centre property had originally been bought by a pub company for one of its managers. When he left, local villager Aaron Osborne saw an opportunity and took on the manager's role while raising the money to buy the pub.

The Red River Inn has a main bar area and an adjoining restaurant, split into two areas, that will seat around 60 people.

The property agent was Miller Commercial.
