The Bell, Fetcham, has made two additions to its brigade. Alain Fricker (above left) has joined as sous chef, while Daniel Fielder (above right) has been made chef de partie. Fricker has vast experience in hospitality, having trained with Andre Chavagnon and alongside Raymond Blanc in the 1960s. He spent five years as chef to the Governor of the Bank of England where he cooked for heads of state including Harold Wilson, Ted Heath and a young Prince Charles, and has since worked in various positions around the world.
