The Star in Wolverhampton changes hands

Manjit Gill has bought the leasehold on the Star public house in Wolverhampton from pubs and clubs group Calco Midlands.

Along with two main trading rooms, the recently-refurbished pub has a three-bedroom owner's accommodation, a car park and a patio area.

Gill paid a sum close to the £165,000 guide price for the leasehold on the property, which was marketed by Fleurets in Birmingham.
