Ragdale Hall Spa has appointed Helen Bull as its new managing director after the retirement of longstanding leadership duo Allison Garner and Hugh Wilson
Leicestershire’s Ragdale Hall Spa has appointed Helen Bull as its new managing director, succeeding outgoing directors Allison Garner and Hugh Wilson.
Garner and Wilson are both retiring from their respective roles after more than three decades in post at the 93-bedroom hotel.
In her new role Bull will lead a 525-strong team. She joins the hotel and spa following a 30-year career spanning senior leadership appointments across hospitality – notably at Merlin Entertainments, where she was responsible for “long-term resort strategy, delivering financial targets and overseeing the operational running of the resort for both guests and employees.”
Wilson said: “I’m proud to be handing over the reins to Helen. Ragdale Hall Spa is an incredible brand and business with a strong team and foundation, foundations that Allison and I have been part of building and shaping.
“We will be stepping away confidently that Ragdale is in safe hands and that it will become even more remarkable.”
Bull added: “It is a privilege to join a brand that is so highly regarded and continue the success that Hugh and Allison have had a huge part in creating. I look forward to using my experience and expertise to lead Ragdale Hall Spa into its next era.”
