Ready Burger exceeds £1.5m crowdfund target hours after launch

Plant-based fast food brand Ready Burger has tipped over its £1.5m crowdfunding target and gone into overfunding just hours after launching.

With 29 days to go on the Crowdcube crowdfund, Ready Burger has already raised £1.75m from 343 investors.

The group's first site opened on Park Road in London's Crouch End last month with a plant-based fast food menu including a £1.99 signature burger. A second site is due to open on Finchley Road later this summer, with a third and fourth site already in the pipeline and ambitious expansion plans to continue to open new venues across London and beyond.

Ready Burger was founded by entrepreneur and director of Makespace Max Miller and Adam Clark, a chef who was personal chef to professional boxer Anthony Joshua for five world title fights.
